Imagine a dimension not our own, but extremely similar to our own...only goats can talk, and your paranoia is probably very well founded...
Welcome to Middle Heaven, where a handful of college students attempt to earn their various degrees by any means necessary, and struggle to survive the rigors of complete freedom from responsibility and reality.
There's Simon, the hapless protagonist. easy-going, sarcastic, witty, a history
major, and--by dint of all of the above--obviously a complete loser. Then there's his
art major roommate, Jerome, whose use of illogic has actually sent three philosophy professors into extensive therapy.
Wolfgang, the guy that just seems to hang around in their dorm room, is the answer guru and happens to be testing his sanity as a
psych. major. Our heroes are supported by a cast of three--Earl, the physical manifestation of Simon's conscience and his misguided guardian angel;
Sue, the love interest who's
completely unaware that Simon even exists; and Bob, Simon's pet goat that walks, talks, and wears pants.
no one's sure why Simon has a pet goat, or how he's able to keep it in the dorm, but one thing's for sure--it eats
a lot.
